Senthil seeds was incorporated in the year of 2006 at Salem, Tamilnadu. Subsequently in the year of 2017, it was acquired by Idar, Gujarat based visionary seed producer Mr Niranjanbhai Isharbhai Patel Idar. The company hold Bollgard I & Bollgard II Bt cotton sub license granted by Mahyco Monsanto Biotech. Company also has purchased 2 BGII Bt cotton hybrids from Zuari Agro Chemicals and 15 more BGII hybrids from Namdhari Seeds in the year of 2018 and 2019 subsequently. Company is industry leader in developing and producing quality Bt cotton seeds hybrids in the state of Gujarat. Company has set up modern R&D infrastructure at Idar, Gujarat and plant breeding center at Akola, Maharashtra. It has inhouse modern seed processing, packaging and storage facility installed with modern machineries and lab equipments as well.
Other than Bt cotton seeds, company is also engaged in breeding and developing improved crop varieties/ hybrids of Mustard, Cumin, Millet, Corn and vegetables as well.
